The automation platform Ventura is a highly flexible system for mobile applications. It is characterized by a fully modular structure, reaching from the user interface and the control system all the way to the actuators and drives. One primary advantage of Arriva are highly durable components which are able to withstand constant vibrations as well as all the other demanding operating conditions typical of outdoor applications. 

At the core of Arriva is a complete range of intelligent I/O modules. They form a decentralized system which can be extended easily to control all the required functions. All components communicate via the CAN bus. Special gateways allow the seamless integration into the vehicle's electronic system (SAE J1939) as well as the connection of devices with RS232 or USB interface and the communication via the GSM cellular telephone network.

The graphical programming system Arriva Pilot is used for programming each individual module without the need for special programming knowledge.
