Being a project partner of this customer, KUHNKE not only provided a system precisely tailored to the specific machine, but also offered comprehensive support to achieve detailed machine optimization. The resulting customer-specific application was characterized by a high level of customization. The Ventura Smart Spin control system for the rotating galette consists of a power controller with integrated temperature measurement. It allows independent temperature control of each of the 8 heating zones. The measured temperature values are transmitted via CANopen, while the process control system is connected via PROFIBUS DP. The resulting flexibility allows easy and economic adjustment of the machine to changing production requirements.
